For this first part of the Jubilee 10th trade fair in cosmetics, hairdressing and healthy lifestyle, we have prepared something in a totally remarkable spirit – in the sophisticated attractive premises of O2 arena.  Thanks to its exclusive positioning, access, high visitor rating and its whole network of advance sale agencies, the  O2 arena provides a wonderful and dignified setting for exhibitors, visitors as well as others participating in the trade fair both locally and from abroad.

In new premises, the trade fair will focus even more intensively on trends in the field of cosmetics, beauty, face and body sculpturing. The exhibitors will present around 350 brands, most of which form a continual demonstration programme at the stands and an extensive range of news from all cosmetic fields: new skincare methods, new methods in nail modelling, nail decoration, foot-care, hair thickening and hair extensions, tattoos, permanent make-up and tanning, moulding of the face and figure using equipment, facial fillers and plastic surgery. Hot news in make-up, hairstyles and fashion emerging from the hands of local as well as foreign masters for famous names available throughout the day on the main stage.
 
Even more emphasis on the WORLD OF BEAUTY & SPA trade fairs will be placed on beauty as harmony of the body and mind.  Those visitors looking for inspiration to visit new relaxation or spa centres and above all those considering acquiring further education or retraining in the field are impatiently awaiting the chance to experience samples of various kinds of massages, aromatherapy and other relaxation methods offering relief from daily stress. Naturally the exhibitors will also be offering retraining and further education in other areas such as cosmetics, face make-up, hairdressing, nail modelling, podology, while courses of other natural healthcare methods will also be presented such as alternative medicine, acupressure, Chinese medicine, homeopathy, iris diagnostics, Chakra therapy etc.

As is the case each year, contests will also rank among the highlights of the trade fair programme. For the Friday the Czech Championship in Make-up has been put together in conjunction with the Union of Cosmeticians and Pavel Bauer, at which the finalists of the June competition in the Kaiserstejn Palac will move forward. Patricie Herrera will prepare a competition for the Beautiful hands and feet, podiatricians their ‘Podiatric day’ linked to the expert contest “most beautiful feet” under the leadership of Jaroslav Fešar from CPS. In conjunction with the PROKOS Union, the BEAUTY EXPO & PROKOS PRODUCTS AWARD has been put together for exhibitors.

For the Saturday, a traditional Czech Championship and International Championship in Nail Design in the categories of “gel” and acrylic” have been prepared with an opportunity for winners to advance to the International Championship in nail design in Düsseldorf.
The first ever COMPETITON INSPIRATION 2011 promises to be an attractive new feature.
During the course of the spring trade fair WORLD OF BEAUTY & SPA Blanka Hašková, Jan Hlaváček and Martin Loužecký performed their perfect hairstyling creations to the jury which also served as an invite to their autumn 1st year. The winner will acquire 100.000 Czech Crowns, all finalists taking home the luxury professional hairdryer, PARLUX 3800, a ticket to the trade fair, original diplomas and other material gifts.
